Michelle leads all aspects of Risk Dynamics’ business operations globally, implementing its strategy, stewarding expansion, and building a strong community of practitioners.


Michelle joined McKinsey in 2006, and has worked to grow the assets and capabilities of its Risk & Resilience Practice, and help individuals attain their maximum success. Early on, she held roles in Learning & Development, Professional Development and Talent Strategy. She was a founding member of McKinsey’s risk analytics team, sponsored growth of the team in India, and later helped introduce US-based analytics consultants. She began working with Risk Dynamics upon its 2016 acquisition, focusing on its talent strategy and integration with McKinsey.

Michelle was named chief operating officer of Risk Dynamics in 2019, and has helped steward its international expansion, grow new service lines, and enable innovation, and knowledge development and cooperation.

Michelle holds a master’s degree in organizational psychology from Columbia University, with a focus on adult learning and leadership and organizational change. She has a bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University in sociology, French and government. Michelle also has specialties in leadership coaching, learning facilitation, team building, and conflict resolution.
