Edison helps financial institutions and other organizations solve risk problems through advanced analytics. He co-leads McKinsey’s Capital and Balance Sheet Management Service Line in the Americas, and is a core member of the Global Financial Crime Service Line.
Edison serves clients across a wide range of risk topics, including credit risk management, customer assistance, capital and balance sheet management, and operational risk (e.g. anti-money laundering). He is experienced in serving financial services and payments clients, along with companies in the health care and pharmaceutical industries.
Prior to joining McKinsey, Edison was a statistician at both Citigroup and the health insurer Anthem, where he developed machine learning models to detect abnormal behaviors using transaction data.
He holds a PhD in pharmacology and a master’s degree in statistics from Purdue University.
