Background

Asin is a core member of McKinsey Digital, where he leads the EMEA Banking Data Transformation Service Line, focusing on simplification, data management, and digitization. He has served numerous banking clients in undertaking risk data transformations. He is a co-organizer and host of McKinsey's European Data Summit, banking data and technology roundtables, and he helps lead the firm’s creation of global industry benchmarks.

Asin holds a PhD in information systems from the University of Cologne, along with master’s and bachelor’s degrees in the same discipline from Westfaelische Wilhelms-University, Muenster, Germany, with majors in information management and process management. During his studies, he conducted research at the University of Melbourne, University of Sydney, and the University of New South Wales, in Sydney, Australia.
